Christianity Focus Ministries purchased 10 acres of land and constructed one block of 4 classrooms. Recently, another block of 4 classrooms has been added. To fully serve its purpose, however, the school requires 17 Classrooms.
Started in 2000, after a mega gospel crusade that launched Christianity Focus Centre Budaali - branch held by DR. Bishop David Kiganda and a team. The mission became an eye opener to a huge number of orphans and vulnerable children out of school, devastated by the wrath of HIV /AIDS stemming from chronic poverty caused by an ugly guerilla war in central Uganda in the 1980s. Dr. Bishop David Kiganda together with Christianity Focus Centre responded to this need by creating an elementally school first housed in the then make-shift church building. In the twinkling of an eye, the small make shift church building was not enough and the remedy was to identify a piece of land in the neighbourhood that could host such a great vision. Funds were collected from Christianity Focus Centre, headquarter Church (L.C.1 Kiganda Zone, Mengo Kisenyi Kampala Uganda, East Africa) and close to ten acres of land were bought for this purpose. Increasingly funds were collected that helped in the construction of the current unfinished structures. However, the global COVID-19 pandemic (2020-2022) leading to the closure of schools and churches, finances could not be secured to support the school reopen. To date the school remains closed two years on. Moreover, the need in the community is dire with the ever-increasing requests from parents/caretakers for continuity. The children are at the risk of abuse (child labour for boys and early marriages for girls). By the close due to COVID-19 enrolment had reached 600.
